A tapestry exhibition, of special interest to Friends, will be at Ripon Cathedral from February 27 ­ April 13 2018. It is called Threads through Revelation, and features images from the last book of the New Testament ­ the Revelation of John.
Of all the books of the Bible, none had a more powerful effect on shaping the thinking and actions of early Friends than Revelation. Here is depicted the Lambs War ­ a battle between good and evil. In the aftermath of the civil war it spoke very much to the concerns of Friends.
